Journey with us to the heart of the Mother, to the land of the “Children of the sun” where we will immerse ourselves in the sacred and bathe in the beauty of the Andean spirit, reconnecting with our sisters and brothers, sharing our gifts and nurturing our souls. 

 The tours offer insight and inspiration from the Andean traditions. On the tour you will meet Quechua and Aymara elders and medicine people who will share with you their ancient ways, together you will receive initiation ceremonies including Karpay Ayni and take part in traditional despacho ceremonies and cleansing, with many more surprises along the way..

Day 1: LIMA

Travel day to Peru, with overnight Lima. Airport meet and greet and transfer to your hotel for the night; Please note – early departure tomorrow morning for Lima airport. You must arrive by this date to be included in the next day`s transfer to Cusco.

Day 2: LIMA / CUSCO / SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS

Early breakfast and at indicated time transfer for flight to Cusco, continuing directly to the Sacred Valley of the Incas (at a lower altitude) for quiet afternoon. Breathing in the fresh mountain air, we relax and adjust to the altitude with rest and mate de coca (tea). Evening welcome dinner to acquaint with your soul family, and star watch beneath the Milky Way.

Day 3: SACRED VALLEY / OLLANTAYTAMBO / AGUAS CALIENTES

Ceremony

Breakfast in hotel and departure for ancient temples of Ollantaytambo, we visit the temple of the Condor the sanctuary of the wind. Lunch at restaurant in Sacred Valley. Ceremony with female Curandero. Late afternoon departure for Ollantaytambo train station and spectacular rail trip to Aguas Calientes (the town located below the citadel Machu Picchu). The train journey takes us through semi-tropical Andean valleys strewn with snow-capped mountains. Overnight in Aguas Calientes. Own dinner arrangements.

Day 4: AGUAS CALIENTES / CITADEL MACHU PICCHUWelcome to Machu Picchu!

Breakfast in hotel and very early departure to visit the sanctuary of Machu Picchu with our guide: where personal offerings of coca leaves will be made to the guardians of this ancient place. Free afternoon for personal exploration of Machu Picchu or enjoy the hot springs (above town), take a walk and sit by the river. Own lunch arrangements. Evening dinner in town to share our experiences.

Day 5: AGUAS CALIENTES – MACHU PICCHU / WATERFALL / SACRED VALLEY

Early breakfast, this is a free full day on your own to re-visit Machu Picchu or take a long strenuous walk to climb Huayna Picchu (optional extra). Free time to explore and meditate; or visit the garden and Mandor waterfall located 2 hours by foot from Aguas Calientes; spend time browsing in the market in town. Own lunch arrangements. Late afternoon / Evening train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo and transfer to our hotel in the Sacred Valley.

Day 6: MARAS / MORAY

Breakfast in hotel and departure for Cusco on the way we stop at the enormous circular Incan terraces of Moray, said to be the umbilical cord of the Pachamama. Break for box lunch and continue overland to the Salinas de Maras, ancient high frequency salt pools where ancient techniques are still in use since Tahuantinsuyo (Inca Society). Own dinner arrangements.

Day 7: CUSCO / + RUINS

Breakfast in Cusco and transfer to the ancient sanctuaries of the Incas including: the ritual moon cavern at Kenko and Sacsayhuaman high above Cusco, ceremony with Q`ero Indian. Offerings of coca leaves will be left in appreciation for the gifts of abundance bestowed by the Pachamama. Box lunch.

Day 8: CUSCO / QORICANCHA – TEMPLE OF THE SUN / SAN PEDRO

Breakfast in Cusco. Free morning to visit the mystical city of Cusco. Own lunch arrangements. Visit the Qoricancha ‘Temple of the Sun’ or the cathedral in the Plaza de Armas (visits between 6am-9am free entrance); indulge the senses at the many colourful markets, including San Pedro – the witches market or visit the many museums including the coca Museum. Afternoon coca leaf reading lesson with local curandero. Personal coca leaf readings (optional extra). Overnight departure for Copacabana – Bolivia

Day 9: PERU / BOLIVIA – COPACABANA

Island of the Sun

Crossing the border from Peru to Bolivia, we arrive early in the day in the pretty bay of Copacabana, at the heart of the “Mama Cota” or “Mother Lake’’ Titicaca (12,421’ above sea level!). Breakfast in hotel. This is a free day to enjoy the comfort of your quaint accommodation with views of the lake and relax and adjust to the higher altitude. Enjoy lunch in the many restaurants and cafes close to the bay or visit the famous, 16th-century, large shrine, the Basilica of Our Lady of Copacabana. Evening dinner.

Day 10: COPACABANA / ISLAND OF THE SUN

Breakfast in Copacabana. Flotilla cruise on Lake Titicaca, crossing the great highland sea, we arrive at the Island of the Sun, home to the ancient Aymara people. We will be guided by an Elder of the Island and together visit the sacred sites including: the Sacred Rock, Chakana (Andean cross),  a fascinating labyrinth, a temple and ancient spiritual training centre for both men and women. We will share in an ancient ceremony with the Elder. A traditional Andean lunch will be prepared and evening dinner. A fire will be lit in the evening to enjoy the beautiful sunset over the Mother Lake.

Day 11: ISLAND OF THE MOON / COPACABANA

Elders Island of the Sun

Breakfast on the Island of the Sun. We say farewell to our friends and continue over the lake floating quietly on the Mama Cota for 1 hour until we reach the Island of the Moon. We visit the sacred Feminine Temple and Astronomical Observatory, where we will join together to celebrate the feminine. Connecting with the angelic realms, the Feminine Ray entering the earth around Lake Titicaca and penetrating the depths of the waters where the great Kundalini energy resides – It is here the veil between dimensions is thin; you will sense and experience these high frequencies and learn about the history of this ancient female initiate training centre. Return to Copacabana for free afternoon.

Day 12: COPACABANA / TIWANAKU / PUNO- PERU

TiwanakuEarly breakfast and departure for Tiwanaku, known to be the most ancient and remarkable sacred site in the Andes. Tiwanaku is a mysterious ceremonial centre, located 4 hours’ drive from Copacabana.  We visit the ancient site with a Bolivian Elder, including the Sun and Moon gate, an ancient pyramid known as the Akapana and the New temple, a place of healing. On the way we stop at the highest point of Lloqo Lloqo a natural altar, where we perform a ritual to the Sacred Royal Mountain Range. Break for lunch. Return to Peru via the Desaguadero Border. Overnight Puno. Evening dinner.

Day 13: PUNO / FLIGHT TO LIMA

Breakfast in Hotel. Flights from Juliaca airport to Lima and transfer to hotel.

NOTE

Independent travel can be arranged for those who want to arrive early or extend their trip to visit the jungle, Ica, Nazca or Northern Peru.

*We cannot predict or be responsible for public events, flight delays or cancellations and other challenges that may be part of the journey in remote undeveloped areas. We will adjust the trip logistics to accommodate in-route changes if necessary.

**Double occupancy rates are based on two persons sharing a room together; single supplement for  a private room are available at an additional cost. If you are travelling alone and need a roommate we will attempt to pair you with another traveller, however if no roommate is available at (30) days from the departure, you may be required to purchase a single supplement.
